SCOTT Kinabalu Supertrac v4 - REVIEW
With its first introduction back in 2013 ish the Scott Kinabalu Supertrac has embedded itself as one of the best trail running shoes in the UK. The shoe is at home on both muddy services and hard compact trail. Taking inspiration from Lakeland 100 in the lake district Scott wanted a shoe that was at home across all of the surfaces like you would fine on a typical UK mountain ultramarathon. From the first to to the current v4 the Scott Kinabalu Supertrac has gone from strength to strength.
with its 8mm drop and its 340g it can feel a little heavy when comparing it to a lighter fell running shoe but the proof is in the pudding.
Shelli Gordon who is a UK Scott Athlete and co owner of ULTRA-RUNNER.COM uses this shoe on both short fell races and 200 mile single stage races, Shelli says "The supertrac is fantastic on pretty much everything, when running the Hardmoors 200 you need to deal with everything from technical terrain to flat road sections and the Supertrac did not let me down" She also went on to add "When you run on the hard surfaces or the road sections the Supertrac feels almost like a road running shoe, you don't notice the fact you're running on a studded shoe"
The NEW Kinabalu Supertrac v4 is a colour update from the pervious v3 so you get all of the same awesome features.
